Commercial Business Owners
The seven point challenge, started by
the Building Owners and Managers Association, recognizes that energy
consumption in commercial buildings accounts for 18 percent of US
Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. The Community Energy Challenge is
the first step towards a community-wide green house gas reduction.
Responsible building operating and management practices can
significantly reduce energy consumption, diminish a building’s
carbon footprint, and thus lower GHG emissions.
Sign the pledge and take the
Seven Point Challenge.
